It was a challenge changing coasts but I’d like to say I’m a pretty adaptable person so I think the transition went well for me. Some big changes: time zones, transportation, weather, people (I get homesick because I miss family & friends), and diversity in culture.
NYU is in New York City and I can’t complain about that. The people here are different, but if you’re a good people person then you will feel perfectly fine. NYU really works on giving you MANY opportunities to a point where I get annoyed of how many emails I get lol whether it be hall programs, internships or scholarships, events, study abroad information (this one is my favorite), awards, etc. You really do get a lot of opportunities if you attend NYU. I also like our “campus”, it’s hard to explain why so I won’t (:
Thanks for the question.
